Designed for all ability levels—from complete beginners to experienced players—the Easter Rugby Day will provide an inclusive environment focused on building confidence, improving fundamental rugby skills, and encouraging more young people to get involved in the sport.
Families can choose to attend the session closest to them, with identical delivery planned at both partner clubs. Coaches from the Coastal Rugby Partnership and local community volunteers will lead a programme of enjoyable games, team activities, and age-appropriate rugby skills.
“Our aim is to create opportunities for children to try rugby in a supportive, welcoming environment. Whether they’ve been playing for years or want to try something new, the Easter Rugby Day is the perfect chance to get involved,” said a spokesperson from the Coastal Rugby Partnership.
The event helps strengthen the growing collaboration between clubs across North Tyneside and South East Northumberland, supporting long‑term player development and increased participation at grassroots level.
